VAR4LCR Conference: Extended Deadline for Abstract Submission
Submit your abstract to the VAR4LCR conference by 31 January 2025 and explore register and task variation in learner corpus research.
The deadline for abstract submission for the VAR4LCR conference has been extended to 31 January 2025. This conference, organized by the Learner Corpus Association, will take place in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, on 7-8 July 2025.
We welcome submissions comparing two or more registers or tasks in corpora of learner language, using corpus linguistics methods. Keynote speakers include Prof. Douglas Biber, Prof. Marije Michel, and Prof. Shelley Staples.
- Submissions should compare learner registers/tasks against reference corpus data.
- Both quantitative and qualitative approaches are welcome.
- Abstracts should be uploaded to OpenReview by 31 January 2025 at 23:59 UTC.
