WMT 2024: Shared Task on Low-Resource Indic Language Translation
The World Machine Translation Conference (WMT) 2024 is hosting a "Shared Task: Low-Resource Indic Language Translation". This initiative aims to tackle the challenge of scarce parallel data, particularly for low-resource languages. The focus is on Indic languages from diverse language families such as Assamese, Mizo, Khasi, Manipuri, Nyishi, Bodo, Mising, and Kokborok.
