This workshop aims to explore and address various aspects of online violence against women, including gender-based violence, harassment, stalking, cyberbullying, misogynoir, LGBTQ+ discrimination, and emerging forms of harm. The workshop will feature interdisciplinary approaches, innovative frameworks, and technological solutions to ensure online safety for women. Topics of interest include gender bias identification and mitigation, non-consensual deepfake generation and dissemination, detection and prevention of online harm, legal and ethical frameworks for protecting women online, psychological, social, and legal impacts of online technology when used for gender-based abuse, and addressing online harm through sentiment and emotion analysis.
