Workshop on Semantic Reasoning and Goal Understanding in Robotics (SemRob) at RSS 2024

We are pleased to invite you to submit your papers to the 1st Workshop on Semantic Reasoning and Goal Understanding in Robotics (SemRob), which will be held at the 20th Robotics Science and Systems (RSS 2024) conference in Delft, Netherlands, on 19 July 2024. The workshop aims to bring together robotics researchers, engineers, and practitioners from different communities to discuss new hybrid methodologies that combine representations from robotics foundation models with modeling mechanisms for semantic reasoning and abstract goal understanding.

Topics of interest include (but are not limited to) learning semantically-rich and generalizable robot state representations, learning general goal representations, reasoning mechanisms for generalization in open-vocabulary contexts, leveraging foundation models for robotics tasks, and combining foundation models with AI reasoning structures. The paper submission deadline is 3 June 2024, 23:59 AOE, and the workshop will feature invited talks from experts in the field.
