Dalhousie University invites applications for a Donald Hill Family Postdoctoral Fellowship in Artificial Intelligence in Health & Medicine, under the supervision of Dr. Frank Rudzicz.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in machine learning and a compelling independent research agenda at the intersection of AI and medicine, including areas such as:

trustworthy, explainable, and uncertainty-aware AI for clinical decision support
probabilistic and statistical machine learning for health data
causal or counterfactual reasoning in medicine
sequential decision-making and personalized treatment planning
multimodal learning from text, imaging, physiological signals, and genomics
foundation models / LLMs in clinical settings
