🇬🇧 Fully Funded PhD Studentship in Edge AI at Newcastle University

Newcastle University offers a fully funded PhD studentship in Edge AI, covering fees and providing a £20,780 annual living allowance. The project focuses on efficient and trustworthy AI deployment at the edge.

A PhD Studentship in Computer Science is available, focusing on ‘Edge AI: Building Efficient, Trustworthy and Distributed Intelligence at the Edge’. The studentship covers 100% fees and provides a tax-free annual living allowance of £20,780.

The project explores challenges in deploying AI at the edge within federated learning contexts. Students will be supervised by researchers at the EPSRC National Edge AI Hub, UK, with access to a network of 75+ industry partners and 12 leading UK universities.
