Call for tutorials for ACM ICMI 2026, deadline April 30th, 2026
ACM ICMI 2026 seeks half-day tutorial proposals addressing current and emerging topics within the scope of context and cultural awareness for multimodal interaction. Tutorials are designed to offer a high-quality learning experience to participants with diverse backgrounds.
Prospective organizers should submit a 4-page (maximum) proposal containing the following information:
- Title
- Abstract
- Distinctive topics
- Learning objectives
- Targeted audience
- Detailed description
- Outline of the tutorial content
- Description of the presentation format
- Accompanying material
- Short biography of the organizers
Proposals will be evaluated using the following criteria:
- Importance of the topic
- Presentersโ experience
- Adequacy of the presentation format
- Targeted audience interest
- Accessibility and quality of accompanying materials

Important Dates:
- Tutorial proposal deadline: April 30th, 2026
- Tutorial acceptance notification: May 23th, 2026
- Camera-ready version of the tutorial abstract: August 2nd, 2026
- Tutorial date: October 5th or October 9th 2026
