GITT-2026 workshop on gender-inclusive translation technologies at EAMT 2026

The Fourth International Workshop on Gender-Inclusive Translation Technologies (GITT) will be held at EAMT 2026 on 15 June 2026, in Tilburg, The Netherlands. For more information, visit the workshop’s website at GITT-2026 or follow on bsky.social.

Important dates include a submission deadline of 26 April 2026, notification of acceptance on 13 May 2026, and camera-ready copy due on 20 May 2026.

The workshop aims to bring together researchers to focus on gender-inclusive language in translation and cross-lingual scenarios, encouraging multidisciplinary research to address bias and promote gender inclusivity in machine translation and translation tools.

  • Models or methods for assessing and mitigating gender bias
  • New resources for inclusive language and gender translation
  • Social, cross-lingual, and ethical implications of gender bias
  • Qualitative and quantitative analyses on the potential limits of current approaches

Submissions are welcome in four types: research papers, extended abstracts, research communications, and potluck communications. All submissions should adhere to the EAMT 2026 guidelines and style templates, available on Easychair.
