Call for Papers: Holocaust Testimonies as Language Resources (HTRes-2026)

The Second Workshop on Holocaust Testimonies as Language Resources (HTRes-2026) is being held as a pre-conference workshop at LREC2026 on 11 May 2026 in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. The workshop is supported by CLARIN and EHRI.

Holocaust testimonies are a vital source of information, providing first-hand accounts of historical events. Transforming these testimonies into a machine-processable digital format is crucial for researchers and historians.

• The workshop aims to explore the application of corpus linguistics, natural language processing, and digital humanities to the examination and preservation of Holocaust testimonies.
• Key dates: paper submission deadline is 20 February 2026, notification of acceptance on 11 March 2026, and camera-ready version submission by 30 March 2026.
