A new deadline has been announced for the Special Issue on Advancing Arabic Language Models: Resources, Evaluation, and Applications in the Era of Large Language Models. The extended deadline is now 1st November 2025.

This special issue, guest-edited by Wassim El Hajj, Hend S. Al-Khalifa, and Ahmed Ali, aims to explore the latest advancements and challenges in Arabic Language Models (LMs), particularly Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Development of large-scale datasets for Arabic, including dialectal varieties.
• Novel approaches to Arabic language modeling.
• Evaluation frameworks and benchmarks for Arabic LLMs.
• Cultural and ethical considerations in developing Arabic LLMs.
