PhD grant available for analysing clinical documents in Emergency Departments using Large Language Models, in collaboration with Fondazione Bruno Kessler.

A three-year PhD grant is available at the University of Padua, in collaboration with Fondazione Bruno Kessler, focusing on analysing clinical documents to support decision-making in Emergency Departments.

The project aims to leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) to improve healthcare service quality by interpreting clinical documents.

  • Research will be conducted primarily at Fondazione Bruno Kessler in Trento, Italy.
  • The PhD program is part of the Horizon project eCREAM.
  • Key challenges include improving LLMs’ accuracy, interpretability, and mitigating biases.
