A fully funded PhD position is available at the University of Adelaide’s School of Computer and Mathematical Sciences. The project focuses on ‘Collaborative AI-Based Optimisation for Sustainable Resource Extraction in South Australia’s Copper and Gold Mining Sector’.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in designing and applying optimisation algorithms, along with robust mathematical knowledge to handle stochastic aspects of problems and algorithms.
