The International Automated Negotiating Agents Competition (ANAC) is hosting its Supply Chain Management League as part of IJCAI 2026. Participants are invited to submit autonomous agents that negotiate on behalf of factory managers in a supply chain management simulation.
The challenge involves designing an agent that maximizes profit given private production capabilities by negotiating trades with other agents. Key features include:
- Bilateral negotiations with interdependent utility functions
- Alternating offers protocol with actions like accept, counteroffer, or walk away
- Simulations run for a predefined number of steps with a two-hour time limit
New in 2026, support for developing agents using MARL is available, with SCML available as a gymnasium and petting-zoo environment. Templates for model development and training are provided.
Submissions are to be made on the NegMAS platform, with a preliminary deadline on May 25th, 2026, and a final deadline on June 1st, 2026. An unofficial live competition starts March 25th.
