JAAMAS Special Issue CFP: Foundation Models & Multi-Agent Systems

JAAMAS invites papers on the synergy between Foundation Models and Multi-Agent Systems. Submission deadline is February 28, 2026.

A new special issue is announced in the Journal of Autonomous Agents and Multi-Agent Systems (JAAMAS) focusing on the intersection of Foundation Models (FMs) and Multi-Agent Systems (MASs).

The deadline for submissions is February 28, 2026. Topics of interest include:

  • FMs as solutions to MASs: enhancing coordination, cooperation, and learning within MASs.
  • MASs as solutions to FMs: improving FM capabilities in planning, reasoning, and decision-making.
  • Societal implications: assessing and mitigating the impacts of combining FMs with MAS technology.

Authors are encouraged to submit original research papers, survey papers, and viewpoint papers. A cover letter linking the submission to prior work on autonomous agents and multi-agent systems is required.
