A special issue of Processes is seeking research articles and reviews on the application of machine learning algorithms for biological data. The issue aims to publish recent developments in this field, including but not limited to the use of machine learning algorithms for investigating biological systems, new machine learning algorithms, genetics/genomics, proteomics, medical image analysis and diagnosis, drug discovery/development, and healthcare applications.
