A 2-year Postdoctoral Scholar position is available at the Rational Altruism Lab, UCLA, under the guidance of PI Falk Lieder. The project focuses on extending resource-rational analysis and rational metareasoning to moral decision-making.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with the Wise Judgment Consortium to explain cross-cultural differences in navigating social dilemmas.
- Required skills: dynamic programming/RL and computational modeling.
- Job Type: Fully-funded, research-only (no teaching).
- Start Date: Fall 2026 or earlier (flexible).
