A two-year research project sponsored by Petrobras at the University of São Paulo (USP), São Carlos campus, Brazil, is offering 03 postdoctoral positions to advance the use of mobile robots for autonomous inspection in refineries and oil platforms.

The project focuses on real-world applications of mobile robotics in challenging industrial environments, encompassing multiple robotic platforms such as legged robots (e.g., Boston Dynamics Spot), wheeled and hybrid robots, and aerial robots.

Location: USP – São Carlos Campus, Brazil
Duration: 2 years (renewable)
Start Date: As soon as possible

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field, a strong publication record, and experience in areas like autonomous navigation or reinforcement learning.
