The SPEAKABLE 2026 Workshop on Speech Language Models in Low-Resource Settings is co-located with LREC 2026 in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. It invites researchers to submit papers on performance, evaluation, and bias analysis of speech technologies.
- Performance of speech language models in low-resource languages
- Evaluation methodologies and benchmark creation
- Bias analysis and mitigation strategies
- Real-world applications and deployment challenges
Submissions should be 4-8 pages, following LREC 2026 stylesheet. Papers will undergo double-blind peer review.
Key dates: Paper submission deadline – February 16, 2026; Notification of acceptance – March 12, 2026; Camera-ready papers – March 30, 2026.
