IEEE CoG 2026 special session on Games+Spatial Intelligence seeks papers on evaluating and advancing spatial intelligence through games.

The IEEE Conference on Games (CoG) 2026 is hosting a special session titled ‘Evaluating and Advancing Spatial Intelligence through Games’ in Madrid, September 1–4, 2026. This session seeks contributions that utilize games as diagnostic tools or environments for developing and evaluating spatial intelligence in AI systems.

The scope includes research on embodied and unembodied games, as well as multimodal and unimodal settings. Topics of interest include instruction following and giving tasks, reward modeling, and novel task formulations to evaluate spatial intelligence capabilities.

  • Camera-ready version submission: 28th May 2026
