PhD position in structural generalization in transformer-based LLMs at Saarland University, Germany
A PhD position is available at Saarland University, Germany, in the research groups of Michael Hahn and Alexander Koller. The project focuses on structural generalization in transformer-based LLMs, and the student will be jointly advised by both professors.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent Master’s degree in computer science, computational linguistics, or a related discipline, with outstanding programming skills and algorithmic understanding. A strong understanding of current methods in machine learning and strong communication skills in English are also required.
