Call for papers for the LEGAL2026 & CALD-pseudo 2026 joint workshop at LREC2026, focusing on legal aspects of language data and de-identification techniques.
Researchers are invited to submit original and unpublished research papers for the LEGAL2026 & CALD-pseudo 2026 joint workshop at LREC2026. The workshop will focus on legal aspects of language data and the theoretical, methodological, and technical aspects of pseudonymization, anonymization, and de-identification.
The workshop is scheduled to take place on May 12, 2026, in Palma de Mallorca. Topics of interest include:
- Detection and classification of personal information (PI)
- Replacement and transformation of PI
- Utility and bias after de-identification
- Approaches to evaluation and adversarial testing
- Dataset creation for de-identification research
- Low-resource scenarios
- Speech-specific challenges
- Cross-disciplinary applications and challenges
Authors can submit long papers (up to 8 pages), short papers (up to 4 pages), or extended abstracts for non-technical submissions. The submission deadline is February 20, 2026.
