2-year postdoc position at University of Edinburgh for research on efficient foundation models, part of ARIA’s Scaling Compute initiative.

A 2-year postdoc position is available at the University of Edinburgh to research efficient foundation model architectures as part of ARIA’s Scaling Compute initiative.

The successful candidate will conduct research to design a new benchmark for foundation models, focusing on trade-offs between accuracy, efficiency, and cost.

  • Part of a research team led by Edoardo Ponti, Luo Mai, Wenda Li, and Boris Grot.
  • Collaboration with Yiren Zhao (Imperial College London), Adrian Jackson, and Nick Brown (EPCC).
