A PhD position (E13 100%) is available for 3 years in the DFG Project ‘SocEnRep’ at Ulm University, Germany, focusing on lightweight language models and agentic AI.
The Data Science and Big Data Analytics research group, led by Prof. Scherp, is seeking a highly motivated PhD student to conduct research in Data Science, particularly in developing and applying lightweight language models and agentic AI approaches.
- Conduct research on lightweight language models and agentic AI
- Run experiments on large datasets
- Improve scientific reproducibility by matching research papers with code re-executions
Requirements include a Master’s degree in Computer Science, strong problem-solving and programming skills, and a keen interest in scientific research and writing.
