Ulm University’s Data Science and Big Data Analytics research group is seeking a highly motivated PhD student to work on lightweight language models and agentic AI in the DFG-funded project SocEnRep.
The successful candidate will conduct research on developing and applying agentic AI approaches, run experiments on large datasets, and apply developed methods to improve scientific reproducibility.
- Research on lightweight language models and agentic AI
- Experiments on large datasets with rigorous scientific procedures
- Improving scientific reproducibility by matching research papers with code re-executions
Applicants should have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, strong problem-solving and programming skills, and a keen interest in research and scientific writing.
