The 9th Workshop on Event Extraction and Understanding: Challenges and Applications (EEUCA 2026) is calling for workshop papers and Shared Task participation at ACL 2026. This workshop continues the tradition of its eight previous editions, focusing on challenges and applications of event extraction.
Key dates include:
- Paper submission deadline: March 16, 2026
- Pre-reviewed ARR commitment deadline: April 15, 2026
- Notification of acceptance: April 28, 2026
- Camera-ready paper due: May 12, 2026
The workshop invites work on automated coding and analysis of events from mono- or multi-lingual text sources, including topics such as event extraction, event coreference resolution, and event dataset evaluation.
