Call for submissions to the AAAC Outstanding PhD Dissertation Award 2026, recognizing exceptional research in Affective Computing. Deadline: 31 March 2026.

The AAAC Outstanding PhD Dissertation Award 2026 is now open for submissions, recognizing exceptional research in Affective Computing by recently graduated PhD students.

Eligibility criteria include:

• Dissertations completed between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2025.
• Candidates must be AAAC members at the time of application.
• Dissertations must be in English or accompanied by an English translation.

Submissions should include:

• A published paper representing the dissertation.
• The dissertation itself.
• A statement from the PhD advisor (max 1 page) highlighting the dissertation’s contribution.
