ACM TIST invites submissions for a special issue on Interactive Storytelling and Computational Models of Narrative, focusing on integrating knowledge-driven approaches with LLMs and Generative AI.

A new call for papers has been announced for the ACM Transactions on Intelligent Systems and Technology (TIST) special issue on ‘New Frontiers in Interactive Storytelling and Computational Models of Narrative’.

This special issue aims to integrate knowledge-driven approaches with LLMs and Generative AI to advance computational storytelling and narrative-centered systems.

  • Knowledge graphs for narrative structure, emotions, and values
  • Culturally- and socially-aware language models
  • Semantic Web interfaces for interactive storytelling
  • Narrative planning in human-robot interaction
  • Explainability and ethics in automated storytelling
