AdabEval 2026: Politeness Classification in Arabic Social Media

Participate in AdabEval 2026, a shared task on politeness classification in Arabic social media posts, co-located with LREC 2026.

The AdabEval 2026 shared task invites participants to develop systems for politeness classification in Arabic social media posts. The task is co-located with LREC 2026 and hosted at OSACT7.

Two subtasks are available:

• Subtask A: Politeness Classification – classify posts as Polite, Neutral, or Impolite.
• Subtask B: Category Prediction – predict multiple pragmatic functions in posts.
