Call for Papers: Hyperspectral Image Classification at IJCNN/WCCI 2026
Call for Papers: Special Session on Advances in Machine Learning and Deep Learning for Hyperspectral Image Classification at IJCNN/WCCI 2026 in Maastricht, Netherlands.
A Special Session on ‘Advances in Machine Learning and Deep Learning for Hyperspectral Image Classification’ is being organized at the International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IJCNN 2026), part of the IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence (WCCI 2026), in Maastricht, the Netherlands, from June 21–26, 2026.
The session aims to bring together researchers and practitioners to share novel computational approaches for hyperspectral image classification. Topics of interest include:
- Remote Sensing Applications of Hyperspectral Imaging
- Deep Learning Architectures for Hyperspectral Image Classification
- Transfer Learning for Hyperspectral Image Classification
- Unsupervised and Semi-Supervised Learning Methods
- Explainability and Interpretability in Hyperspectral Image Classification
More details about the session can be found here. Information on paper submission is available here. The deadline for paper submission is January 31, 2026, 23:59 AoE time.
