EvaLatin 2026 CFP: NLP Evaluation Campaign for Latin

EvaLatin 2026 CFP: Fourth evaluation campaign of NLP tools for Latin, co-located with LREC 2026 in Palma, Mallorca (Spain).

EvaLatin 2026 is the fourth evaluation campaign of NLP tools for Latin, co-located with LREC 2026 in Palma, Mallorca (Spain) from May 11-16, 2026.

The campaign focuses on two tasks:

• Dependency Parsing based on the Universal Dependencies (UD) framework.
• Named Entity Recognition (NER) for identifying and classifying proper names in Classical Latin texts.

Participants can use any approach and resource, and are required to submit their runs and a technical report (max 4 pages) via the START submission page.

Key dates:

• 22 December 2025: guidelines available
• 10 March 2026: reports due to organizers
• 27 March 2026: camera-ready version of reports due
