IberLEF 2026 invites task proposals for NLP challenges involving Iberian languages. Proposals are due by December 22, 2026.

IberLEF (Iberian Language Evaluation Forum) is calling for task proposals for its 2026 edition, to be held as part of the 42nd International Conference of the Spanish Society for Natural Language Processing (SEPLN) in Leรณn, Spain.

The goal is to encourage the research community to organize competitive tasks in text processing, understanding, and generation involving Iberian languages like Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan, Basque, or Galician.

  • Task proposals should be submitted by December 22, 2026, to iberlef@googlegroups.com.
  • Proposals should include details such as task title, description, evaluation measures, and organizational committee.
  • Task organizers are expected to set up the evaluation, promote the task, manage submissions, and present results at IberLEF 2026.
