IberLEF 2026: Second Call for Task Proposals
IberLEF 2026 invites task proposals for NLP challenges in Iberian languages. Proposals are due December 22, 2025.
IberLEF (Iberian Language Evaluation Forum) is calling for task proposals for its 2026 edition, to be held as part of the 42nd International Conference of the Spanish Society for Natural Language Processing (SEPLN) in Leรณn, Spain.
The goal is to encourage research in NLP for Iberian languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan, Basque, and Galician.
- Task proposals should be submitted by December 22, 2025, to iberlef@googlegroups.com.
- Proposals should include details on task description, evaluation measures, target community, and linguistic resources.
- Task organizers are expected to manage the evaluation exercise, promote the task, and prepare an overview of the evaluation.
Important dates include notification of acceptance by January 23, 2026, and camera-ready submissions by July 3, 2026.
