MWE 2026 Workshop: Call for Papers on Multiword Expressions
The 22nd Workshop on Multiword Expressions (MWE 2026) invites submissions on research related to MWEs in NLP, with a submission deadline of December 27, 2025.
The 22nd Workshop on Multiword Expressions (MWE 2026) is calling for submissions on research related to Multiword Expressions (MWEs) in Natural Language Processing (NLP).
The workshop is organized by SIGLEX, the Special Interest Group on the Lexicon of the ACL, and UniDive Cost Action CA21167, and will be held on March 28, 2026, in conjunction with the 19th Conference of the European Chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics (EACL 2026) in Rabat, Morocco.
- Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: computational linguistics, annotation and representation, processing in syntactic and semantic frameworks, discovery and identification methods, and evaluation of annotation and processing techniques.
- The workshop will host two shared tasks: PARSEME 2.0 and AdMIRe 2.
- Submissions can be made via the workshop’s submission page and must follow the ACL stylesheet.

- Pre-reviewed (ARR) submission deadline: January 5, 2026
- Notification of acceptance: January 23, 2026
- Camera-ready paper due: February 3, 2026
