Leipzig University’s Institute for Computer Science is offering two fully funded PhD positions in Natural Language Processing. The positions are available in the group of Leonie Weissweiler and are affiliated with the ScaDS.AI graduate school.

Research topics may include:

  • Linguistic Interpretability
  • Multilingual Evaluation
  • Computational Typology

Positions are full-time (TV-L E13) for 3 years, with a preferred start date of 1st April 2026. Ideal candidates should have a master’s degree in computational linguistics, computer science, or a related field.
