VarDial 2026: Extended Submission Deadline for NLP Workshop
VarDial 2026 workshop extended submission deadlines. Focus on NLP for similar languages and dialects, with a shared task on dialectal Arabic language modeling.
The Thirteenth Workshop on NLP for Similar Languages, Varieties and Dialects (VarDial 2026) has extended its submission deadlines. The workshop will be held in conjunction with EACL 2026 in Rabat, Morocco, and will focus on computational methods for closely related languages and dialects.
Topics of interest include:
- Language resources and tools for similar languages and dialects;
- Cross-lingual transfer and adaptation of models;
- Automatic identification of lexical variation;
- Machine translation between closely-related languages;
- Corpus-driven studies in dialectology.
