Singapore Management University is offering fully funded (Visiting) PhD positions and Research Assistant roles in Machine Learning for Health and Human-Centered AI. The School of Computing and Information Systems focuses on developing ‘trustworthy multimodal AI’ for healthcare and ‘human–AI collaboration’ to enhance AI usability and reliability.
Research topics include:
- Machine Learning for Health: multimodal representation learning, vision–language models, medical video understanding, and more.
- Human-Centered AI: enabling AI collaboration, fairness, accountability, transparency, and ethics.
