The SAIL Research Network is pleased to announce the opening of registration for the SAIL Spring School 2026, taking place from 17–19 March 2026 at Paderborn University, Germany.

This interdisciplinary event focuses on resilience and artificial intelligence, bringing together technical, theoretical, and socio-technical perspectives. Participants will gain insights into current research on knowledge-driven AI methods, explainability, and AI’s role in engineering robust and sustainable systems.

  • Keynote speakers include Prof. Stefan Schlobach, Prof. Sebastian Peitz, and Prof. Natalia Diaz Rodriguez.
  • Topics covered: Knowledge Representation as Political AI, data-efficient learning, and symbol emergence in explainable learning.
  • A poster session and social activities will facilitate networking and exchange.
