The ‘LAnguage TEchnologies for Low-resource Languages’ (LaTeLL ‘2026) international conference will be held in Fes, Morocco, on 30 September, 1 and 2 October 2026. LaTeLL ‘2026 aims to provide a forum for researchers to present and discuss their latest work in NLP, particularly in the development and evaluation of language models for low-resource languages.
The conference invites submissions on a broad spectrum of topics, including language resources, core language technologies, NLP applications, multimodality, ethics, and human-centred approaches for low-resource languages.
- Key topics include dataset creation, language modelling, speech recognition, and machine translation for low-resource languages.
- Special theme tracks focus on building applications based on Large Language Models for Low-Resource Languages and Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and Arabic Dialects.
- Submissions are welcome in the form of regular (long) papers and short (poster) papers.
