A Post-Doctoral Researcher position is available at the Group of Machine Learning, Jagiellonian University, Krakรณw, Poland, led by Dr. Rafal Kucharski. The position is part of the COeXISTENCE research project funded by the prestigious ERC Starting Grant.

The ideal candidate will have a background in deep reinforcement learning and a PhD in STEM fields. The role involves developing MARL algorithms for agent-based models of urban mobility, improving scalability with nVIDIA framework, and contributing to the discovery of new phenomena in complex social systems.

  • Develop MARL algorithms for urban mobility models
  • Collaborate with PhD students on algorithmic development
  • Improve RouteRL software scalability with nVIDIA framework
  • Model multi-agent virtual environments using deep reinforcement learning
